Metal guitar lessons

Lately, I’ve been really engaged in guitar. Each time, I have to discover how to play it on any number of reasons to be excited to hear a new song. Although I am not great yet, I am a quick apprentice.
By searching the internet, I have found many sites that have potential. Since I cannot afford an instructor, I am going to have to teach myself. I do have a couple of friends that could probably give me some good pointers though.
The idea of starting a band is something we have been talking about. One of my buddies has already offered up his garage if we really get serious about it. We’ll see what happens, I am just excited about my slide guitar lesson.
